How it Works

Delivery

We offer a large selection of local and non-local goods/produce, organic and non-organic in nature, via our Online Marketplace. The market can change daily with new items added as we're serious about only bringing the best to your door. We sell out of items quickly so order early for best selection & check back for new products frequently.

Check to see if we deliver to your town by creating an online account. If we don't deliver to your town please consider having it delivered to a workplace or friend's home within our delivery area and letting us know there's interest in delivery to your town.

Delivery is free for orders 20$ and over. We hand deliver our orders to specific towns in Massachusetts on either Wednesday or Friday, location dependent. Again, creating an account is the best way to see if we deliver to your area.

Delivery

Shop away by adding items to your shopping cart as you wish. There is no need to "save and checkout," as items in your cart will automatically be placed as an order after your scheduled "cutoff" day & time. We also offer weekly standing recurring orders, so you can set it & forget it.

The Online Marketplace cutoff times are Monday at 12PM for deliveries Wednesday and Wednesday at 12PM for deliveries on Friday. The day of delivery is based on where you are located. Deliveries are available weekly, or when you choose!

You will receive an email confirmation to the email address on file, 2 days prior. Please review this for accuracy as items may become unavailable from producers. We also depend on you to ensure everything that is in your shopping cart is what you ordered. If there are any questions feel free to contact us!

Once the order cutoff times have passed, we then place the orders with our suppliers, pick up the items, sort & go through everything to ensure the items would be something we would pick ourselves. Our standards are high for what we deliver to your door. If there are any issues with your order, simply let us know within 24 hours and we will credit your account for the item.

One of our goals is to make our customers' lives easier. Where else could you text, email or call to alert a grocery store of an issue without having to get back in your car & drive there, to obtain a refund? We're here to support you in any way we can!

The evening before your scheduled delivery, you will receive a text reminder with an ETA of when to expect your delivery. It is important to provide us with a number that accepts texts so we may communicate with you. If you don't text, no problem, let us know & we will make alternate communication arrangements.

At this point, we kindly ask for your help to preserve your delivery by leaving a cooler out. This ensures your items stay fresh as Central Mass Locavore, LLC. is not responsible for items that perish quickly due to inadequate storage at time of delivery, or items that are not stored properly after delivery.

Coming home to your cooler filled with fresh, local, clean, organic, sustainable food and you didn't have to drive all over, while still supporting local, truly is the best part of how it works. A true time saver & reduces the desire to impulse shop, keeping you on your budget and the extra junk out of the house. Trips to the store become limited and one recoups time that already seems to go by too fast.
